When I was a kid, I always wanted to be an art teacher! When I was in high school, I still wanted to be an art teacher! As an adult, I found an opportunity to become a painting instructor!
I didn't think that I could do it. I didn't think that I would be good at it. But I wanted to have a job that meant something to me, that let me share my passion for art with those around me! I was in a place of uncertainty, but, I gathered my courage, I bolstered my positive thoughts and I applied for the job.
In 2016 I began to teach painting to groups of up to 40 people. It was HARD.
If you think painting is hard, try painting while you are walking around the room, holding your canvas, and stuffing your insecurities down all while reaching inward for a fun and encouraging art teacher. I couldn't believe it! She was there.

Pictured above, you can see that the Jackalope has hopped over to Crater Lake, Oregon in order to take a very important selfie to document his journey. I was able to document the elusive event on canvas before he disappeared.
