Lucky Festival 2019 and Creative Painting Workshop Recap!

Lucky Festival 2019 and Creative Painting Workshop Recap!

This weekend was quite busy for this little artist!  On Saturday afternoon (March 16th, 2019) I loaded up the car with my awesome partner Bryan and traveled to the Tacoma Dome to live paint at my biggest event ever, USC Events Lucky Festival 2019!  On Sunday evening, I launched my new Creative Painting Workshop series at The Dane here in Seattle!

Hannah and the crew from WAVES did an AMAZING job setting up the Clover Park area.  We had everything from trees with flower beds, suspended ivy, picket fences and even a giant, ever changing rainbow with accompanying lasers!  It was BEAUTIFUL!

I met some happy-go-lucky-ravers who expressed enthusiasm that there were 3 artists painting at Lucky this year!  They included myself, Sari Luna, Michelle Anderst and Rocky Mamotyuk!

We had a scavenger hunt for different moon phases with a raffle to win a trippy Shrooms Shower Curtain that I created and $5 off mine and Michelle Anderst's artist stores!

If you missed the raffle, don't worry, you can still get the discount off your $30 order until March 31st!  (The code is lucky)

THE RAFFLE WINNER IS SERENITY K!!!!!!  Email me your name & shipping address to claim your prize!

This new style of Creative Painting Workshop that I developed was a hit!

All of the work that I put into the event made it and all the future events more interactive and a more well rounded experience for everyone!

This unique approach to painting workshops allows people to stretch their creative muscles and grow them alongside their painting skills!

I took my experience teaching and the questions from my fall class attendees to create this product for you and I could not be more pleased!

Everyone did so great with the activities and produced some very diverse paintings!

About halfway through the event everyone got excited about their own color choices and focal points!

We had green and orange mushrooms, flowers, jelly fish, seaweed and everyone left with smiles on their faces!

I could not be more pleased with the increased interaction and creativity in my workshops!

This was also the first workshop I hosted with my wonderful art assistant, Sam E!  She helped me with giving one on one assistance to the attendees, set up and tear down of the event.  Welcome to the crew, Sam!

If you missed out, check out the next workshop on March 24th, 2019!
